Changing thoughts

Good morning!!!

thanks for all the ideas of my baby leap list!!!
I am excited to talk to my husband about it more and let you all know my list. (: (:

yesterday was a hard day because Sophia got very very sick. I had to take our poor little puppy into the vet because she was throwing up all morning.
since then she has been sleeping and not really eating or drinking.
the vet did tell us that the shot would make her very very tired. I am hoping that is all it is.
so today is just snuggle day.

I also had my little babysitting job yesterday. it is spirit week at her school and today is superhero day.
we....... well I made her costume.
she is Wonder Woman. (: (:

anything you have learned so far this week?

today I feel like I am learning to not give my thoughts over to the enemy.
I have noticed that I can be very anxious ... if I am not aware of my thoughts.
sometimes I can make up whole stories or scenarios in my head and then react on those feelings.
I know that is something I need to pray in to give completely to the Lord.

"Satan wants a foothold so he can get a stronghold. small place that turns into something huge." - this was on Beth Moore's twitter this morning.

I cannot allow the enemy to have a foothold or a stronghold on my thoughts.

Lord, renew my mind. Wash me clean. I know these negative thoughts are not from you and i declare that they will leave now!  I will not be anxious about my future or my marriage because my hope is in you. I trust you with all that i am and i believe in Your promises for my life.
Continue to grow our marriage and conform it to Your will. Be at our center and saturate us with your love. Speak too my and my husbands heart and show us our callings. We will yield to You. We give you praise and honor forever.
In Jesus name. Amen.

Sick :(

Husby has been sick all Week.... So that is where i have been. Taking care of him and getting him plenty of soup. Also we found a store that sells Kombucha so he is so excited! He LOVES Kombucha and swears its helps him when he doesn't feel good.

My computer is currently getting better too. Lol. It was broken so my love took it to some computer doctor last week. Things are a lot slower in the south so it could take a few weeks to get it back.

I hope you all are having a beautiful weekend and i pray God encounters you in new ways! (:

I had soooo much fun with you at dinner for your birthday last weekend! You looked too cute in that Sombrero!

You are so incredibly good to me.  You saw my heart and the things I was going through spiritually this week and you showed up to speak truth to me.
Lord, forgive me for believing the lies that the enemy speaks. Once I find the courage and the confidence to write about fighting insecurity the enemy attacks me right to my core. Thank you for using the beautiful people around me to remind of my worth. Thank you for all the love that you have for me and for verses that remind me of Your glorious truth.
You are so good to me and none can compare to You. God continue to reveal Yourself to me as I read along with SheReadsTruth in the book of Proverbs. Encounter me at all times.

You sleep in the silliest of places! How is it comfy on the floor? Or with your head on the cable wire? Or on an empty box?! Hehe. You are too funny! I am so glad that your daddy is off this weekend so he hang out with us.  Hopefully he will take you out to go potty at 3am. (:

Chinese food & cuddles

This weekend my Mr. and I had a little at home date.

Last week he had an INTENSE work week. It was long hours and really strenuous work. He said he almost stepped on a snake too (he is currently working landscaping at big commercial businesses).

I decided that Friday was going to be at-home date day. We would relax, rent some movies, and order some take out. He deserved it.

Martin came home with Chinese take out! I had been looking into Chinese restaurants too! hehe. (: I was so stinking excited!
So we had some DELICIOUS Chinese food in the cute containers ( most places we would go to.. they would put the food in a Styrofoam container.. so we were extra excited about this Chinese food)!

The rest of the weekend was filled with Parenthood and playing/snuggling with little Sophia. (:

she loves to bite his face!

This morning when I woke up.. my heart felt so heavy... I am not sure why or what exactly I was feeling.. but I was like overwhelmed with the feeling of love.

Love for my husband. Love for that stinky little puppy. Love for the Lord. Love for my life.
I can't fully describe it but it was a complete reassurance of being surrounded in love.

It feels soo wonderful!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I have never done this link up with Jamie at This Kind of Love but I thought I would give it a try this week. (:

I am loving my sweet new little puppy - Sophia. I know that I have mentioned her a lot lately (and I probably will keep doing it). She can be soo sweet... especially when she is sleeping. hehe

I am loving baking!!! I have been getting up early with little Sophia -- but since I am up... I have been baking blueberry muffins for Martin for work. I have been LOVING it! Martin said that everyone  loves them too... since he shares them with his work guys. hehe.
Today I made baked oatmeal and it was pretty good! Martin said he doesn't normally like oatmeal but he liked the baked oatmeal. They kinda taste a little like a muffin. (:

I am loving that my husband's birthday is in a week and a half!  I love love love celebrating the people in my life. I know that I am going to bake him a (hopefully) awesome cake and probably have dinner somewhere... but I want to do something a little special.

Busy monday

This is a super busy Monday!
I have been cleaning, skyping, and talking on the phone with my aunt. (:
I try to get things done while Sophia naps.
I have to make some homemade muffins and dinner. (:

Happy 11 months of marriage! I cannot believe that 11 months ago today I was walking down the aisle to be your wife. I am also in shock that in one short month we will have been married for an entire year!
I am sorry again for giving you unnecessary attitude last night. I let the stress get the best of me and I shouldn't have done that. Having Sophia here is a big step in our marriage and I know that we will continue to grow in love together, with Sophia, and with our Lord. You make me so proud! I am really excited for the weekend together! Thank you so so much for the beautiful roses last night too. (:

I just want to tell you all thank you for reading my little blog! I am in no way a "writer" since I mess up my punctuation and spelling often and even make up words at times. I am a communicator and I just talk. I rarely have an idea of what I will write before my fingers hit the keyboard and I tend to just let it flow.

A new addition to our family

Well... I am not she's how to fix my little sidebar problem.

Well... we have a new addition to our little family. (:
This is our puppy - Sophia. (:

She is a husky/pit mix and she is four weeks old.
We had been talking about getting a puppy since we got married ... but I never wanted one. Well the mothering side of me cannot be ignored so I agreed last week that we could get one.
I have never had a puppy of my own before so this is really really new to me.
We know Sophia is going to give us some good practice for when we have kids. (:
So today marks 11 months of marriage and a good time to grow our family.
