Steadfast

'The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. '
Lamentations 3:22-23

That was my verse of the day on my 'Daily Bible' app on my fanc-ay phone. It just made me smile. (:

Steadfast - (adj) 1) fixed in direction; steadily directed: a steadfast" gaze. 2) firm in purpose, resolution, faith, attachment, etc., as a person: a steadfast friend. 3) unwavering, as resolution, faith, adherence, etc. 4) firmly establised, as an institution or a state of affairs, 5) firmly fixed in place or position. -[ dictionary.com ]

I love that its the 'steadfast' love. The love that is firm, unwavering, and fixed upon me. (:

"My hope is in You, God. I am steadfast. I will not be moved. I am anchored, never shaken. All my hope is in You." [Hope's Anthem - William Matthews  ]

Just something I needed to hear today so I thought I would share it. (:

steadfast love, Monica
