Confessions Tuesday

Good Tuesday morning everyone!

Here is my honesty for the week.

- I take pictures of Sophia while she is sleeping. She is just so cute! I know that the flash annoys her and usually wakes her up if I take more then one.. but I can't help it!

- I hate bugs. I hate pretty much all bugs.. even cute little lady bigs KINDA freak me out a little bit. This weekend 3 disgusting flies decided to take up residence in my home. I was able to kill 2 of them.. but I am pretty sure one is still here.
I was in the kitchen when I was trying to kill them and noticed I was saying "I am gonna get you." OUTLOUD! Luckily no one was here. THEN when I successfully killed them both... I laughed. One of those creepy laughs too. Oh gosh.

uh! well.. I just found that third fly... in my coffee right now.

GOT HIM. hahaha

-  I had been dealing with some guilt feelings lately with being a stay at home wife. I know that I do a lot around the house and now I am taking care of Sophia -- but it is NOTHING compared to the hard work my husband does all week long... and I am not helping financially as much as I used to when I was working.
Does anyone deal with feelings like that at all? I am really curious. Comment below and tell me your thoughts in our own life.

If you would like to confess some silliness too just copy the code below for the pretty picture and put it on your blog post in HTML or link back to my blog.. then come back and add your link to the bottom so we can read with you. (:

I hate bugs too! With a passion. I'm deathly afraid of water bugs after a horrible incident where one crawled down my leg after pulling on a pair of shorts. Screaming, sobbing and hyperventilating ensued. It happened almost 4 year ago, but I'm still traumatized and can think of how it felt like it was yesterday.

As far as feeling guilty about not working I know exactly how you feel. I did the stay-at-home wife thing for a few months last summer while I was pregnant. At the time my hubby was also unemployed so I really felt like I wasn't pulling my own weight. It really came down to trusting that I was just where God wanted me. Talking through those feelings with my hubby and just trying to let it go. Now it's different because I'm at home taking care of the baby. Sometimes I almost wish I had a job, ha!

It's an amazing blessing to be able to stay home and take care of your house and everything in it. Focus more on that rather then the feels of not doing enough.

Bugs are the worst thing ever. I stay away from them at all times. :P
I'm a stay at home wife too, but honestly I don't feel guilty about it. I love it! Probably partially because I know it's only for the summer, and I'm starting cosmetology school in a few weeks, and partially because I honestly love that we can live on one income--and I just make sure that I don't waste my time at home but serve Angel the best I can. Oh, and I blog too. :P But I am so grateful for a husband who works hard to provide for the both of us!
